DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities from within their base of customers.

You will be the champion for Kollective developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. Account Managers also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Service Delivery, Customer Service and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience. This position requires travel.

The Account Manager, reports to the Regional Managing Director, and will be tasked with deepening customer relationships, owning renewal revenue & upsells and ultimately protecting and growing your account Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).

The role requires previous experience in successfully managing complex enterprise customers and supporting large customer relationships. Key to this role is being able to articulate value, inspire usage growth, and sell the future of Kollective. As a trusted advisor and coach, the Account manager determines how Kollective’s product can be effectively applied to support achievement of customer strategic business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with customer executive sponsors such that all activities are closely aligned with the customer's business case and business strategy, allowing the full potential of their Kollective solution to be realized
  • Negotiate and close contract renewals retaining and growing revenue while assuring on time execution
  • Communicate frequently with customers via business reviews, health calls and onsite visits
  • Leverage the relationship with customers to identify any churn risks and satisfaction to ensure renewals
  • Map the customer relationship, and help drive the movement of our customers up the profitability chain; develop accurate statements of work, product quotes, up-sell new services and products, and product research as needed
  • Translate customer business/technical challenges and requirements into business solutions which leverage Kollective’s products and services

Qualifications

  • 3- 5 years of relevant work experience in either customer success, account management or field sales role
  • Ability to sell C-Level and across sales, product, and management units
  • Demonstrated customer relationship/account management skills of large corporate accounts and customer references that can verify this
  • Fluent English (written/oral), French desirable
  • Experience managing teams consisting of both internal and external (customer) members
  • Understand Enterprise Organization procurement processes
  • Strong ability to present product roadmaps, use cases, and upsell opportunities
  • Experience in the enterprise video space
  • Hands-on experience of working with Enterprise SaaS or Software products
  • Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire people
  • Demonstrated ability to drive customer renewals and customer success
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, highly refined interpersonal skills
  • Track record of working cross-functionally to effectively communicate customer feedback
  • Bachelor Degree or relevant experience in related field required
  • Domestic travel will vary but could be as much as 50% or more some months
