Kollective expands into Asia Pacific region with Singapore headquarters and senior appointments

OREGON, USA, 7 June 2017 –

Kollective, a leading software-defined content delivery network company, has today announced the opening of its Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore and the appointment of Steve Dawson as Managing Director APAC, and Garrick Ransome as Technical Director.

This recent investment is in response to the soaring demand Kollective is experiencing from customers and its rapidly-growing partner ecosystem across Asia Pacific to roll-out high performance, live and on-demand video delivery at scale. Kollective will also be investing in a technical team covering Japan, China, Korea, India and Australia to support this ecosystem.

Commenting on the expansion, Steve Dawson, MD of Kollective Asia Pacific, said: “The demand for improved corporate communications within large enterprises across the Asia Pacific region is growing at pace in what is a highly diverse geographical region and an increasingly competitive environment for talent. Video communication has proven to be a powerful solution to this, although the technical challenges of rolling out video at scale are a major barrier to adoption due to the bandwidth capacity limits of corporate networks across the region.”

As Technical Director for APAC, Garrick Ransome will be responsible for building out the technical APAC team to support the growing end-customer opportunity within the partner network.
